Professional Development Days

All registered and licensed practical nurses who work for Family Lives are required each year to show competencies in several skills and knowledge areas which are importan to the quality of care we provide to the young people we serve. Family Lives offers two ways in which these competancies can be completed:

• Attend one of our voluntary Professional Development Day sessions: choose one location and either the day or evening session.  As we have done for the last few years, we are again combining skills and competencies trainings together with relevant education including contact hours!    In order to maximize the number of contact hours you receive there will be both live contact hour sessions and self-study modules.  Lunch or dinner is provided with opportunities to network with other nurses and Family Lives professionals.  You may also renew your CPR. There is no cost to attend.
